Abstract

The data of the literature and results of own researches on the combined application of chlorine dioxide and chlorine at purification and disinfecting of drinking water are presented. The optimality of the following technological scheme is proved: oxidation of river water by chlorine dioxide, coagulation, filtration, disinfecting by chlorine.
